Fix older versions of programs showing up in "open with" / "right click" dialogue in mac / apple / mavericks.

Open a Terminal and type the following and press enter.

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user

and restart.

Voila.
